I didn't take any outfit photos yesterday but I recently picked up this cute little grunge era dress that I was just itching to style up so I threw it on Babs (the dress form). It's a wince too small for me so it's going to the shop in a couple of days! Summer's not over yet! Another little gem heading to the shop soon is this adorable silver bows necklace!
Just a quick question. How do you guys feel about still wearing floral prints into the fall and winter? In the past I have toned down the floral a lot for these seasons and worn them pretty exclusively only in the form of a blouse or top - but I have some floral dresses that I would just love to pair with some tights and a cardigan for Fall. Thoughts?

ReplyDeleteI love wearing florals into fall and winter. I think it's all about adding darker accessories (tights and cardigans, like you said). I think its just important to belt the cardigan so you don't completely lose your shape. Oh and boots! Definetely boots, especially like buttery soft brown knee highs. :) Oh, I will miss summer but I love fall fashion!

ReplyDeleteAs far as florals in fall and winter goes... I'll probably still be wearing them in my attempt to cling onto the idea of warmer weather. I think the colors of the florals won't be so vivid and bright in the colder months, but they'll still be around!

ReplyDeleteGo ahead and wear your florals in the fall girl! No one says you can't. I plan on wearing my floral dresses, but with more fall like colors as far as my cardigans and tights go. So excited!
