As promised here is part one of the Rhitbee Anne Vintage photoshoot. The day of the photoshoot was so much fun. It started out with Joana of perfectely ; imperfect meeting us at Adrienne's house where she dolled us up real good. Honestly guys, that girl works wonders. Look at my face! I kept looking at myself and thinking - "who is that girl?" I wish my skin was actually that flawless. She did such a good job of really just working with our faces and bringing out our features. Above and beyond the wonders she works with makeup, at the actual photoshoot she was such a little Jay Manuel. She had a great eye for what would look good on camera and what wouldn't! If you want to see more of Joana's work check her out here: perfectely ; imperfect.
After we had our makeup done we headed to High Park to meet Liz. We show up and I spot Liz waiting and I'm thinking, "she looks great but where is her camera?" I was soon to find out her camera was tucked away in her purse which was actually a camera carrying case in disguise. It was this black sort of quilted bag a la classic Chanel with a chain strap! Really chic. I digress - ahah back to the photoshoot. Liz's stylish exterior is really projected onto her artistic vision. The photos she snapped are just so polished and elegant. I wish I could achieve this effect all the time with my daily outfit photos! She was a pleasure to work with and I would jump at the chance to work with her again. If you want to see more of Liz - you should totally visit her website: Elbon Photography. She's been doing portraiture lately but she would like to delve further into the world of events and special events. So if you're in Toronto and need a photographer or makeup artist - both Elizabether and Joana come highly reccommended by me!
I acted as the stylist on this shoot and styled up all of the outfits. It was a bit tricky acting as the stylist for myself as there weren't a lot of mirrors around so I had to just hope my dress was laying right. I really love styling though - I hope I can do more of it in the future. One of my best friends Adrienne (pictured in the blue polka dot dress) helped me out in the modelling department. She looked so great in this dress and just wait until you see her in the floral romper!
Anyway guys I'll have the second round of photos sometime within the next few days. Keep your eyes peeled.
Don't forget to enter the Rhitbee Anne Vintage giveaway. You could snap up one of these little dresses almost for free with 15 dollars off!
Alrighty guys that's all for today!
Happy Saturday :)
xx Robyn
